Historic Walking Tours

Step back in time and walk down historic Elk Avenue and adjacent alleys with a local  guide as they share stories of the past.  You’ll learn how Crested Butte became the town it is today and the history of many historic buildings that still remain on Elk Avenue.  The tours typically last 1.5 hours and occur rain or shine.  We are hosting walking tours on Wednesdays throughout March 2023 from the hours of 2pm-3:30pm, or you can book a private walking tour by calling or emailing us.

We recommend booking your walking tour in advance to secure your spot.

“We loved our tour guide’s incredible deep knowledge and amazing storytelling. Thank you! I loved this so much!”
