Member & Volunteer Events

Member Night at the Museum
Our members get insider access to the collections, curator’s work, and progress of the museum during our member nights. Currently, on pause we’re planning to thank our members for their support in the near future when gatherings are happening again.

Docent Field Trips
One of the absolute best things about being a docent! We plan an annual outing to a nearby museum or historic site with the docents, connect with each other and regional history!

Annual Volunteer Party
Our volunteers are crucial to the success of the museum, and we couldn’t make as much progress without them! Volunteers enjoy an annual party to celebrate the successes and progress made over the past year.
Private Events
Host your next special event with the museum! A local favorite, conveniently located right in the heart of Crested Butte, is a great venue for your intimate wedding, rehearsal dinner, or other private gathering. With the educational exhibits and rustic feel of our preserved historic building, the museum is the perfect place for hosting gatherings in the town of Crested Butte.
