Voices of Crested Butte: Past & Present

An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until November 15, 2023
Tune in on Wednesdays, October 25th – November 15th from 6pm – 7pm for a hybrid live audience / virtual learning series. Dr. Duane Vandenbusche will be conducting oral history interviews with local journalists Sandra Cortner, George Sibley, Sandy Fails, and Mark Reaman. This series, titled Voices of Crested Butte: Past & Present, will focus on each of their journeys in Crested Butte and how major issues facing the town have evolved over time. These interviews will showcase their impressions of the transitions that have impacted Crested Butte and how the town and community has overcome (or not overcome) these matters. Duane will dive deep into the lessons they’ve learned over the course of their journalism work and what they believe the future holds for the trajectory of our community. This is a free series, however donations are encouraged if you are able to contribute to this project.
