2. Wednesday ,17- Van Tour with Duane Vandenbusche: Gunnison & Hartman Castle Tour
Join us for a full day of exploration through the rich history of the Gunnison Valley. This guided van tour offers a unique opportunity to experience Gunnison’s past through engaging storytelling, historic sites, and behind-the-scenes access.
Tickets include boxed lunch, tour meets at 9am in Gunnison. A van will be available to ride in from the CB Museum to Gunnison at 8am. The van will return back to Crested Butte at the end of the day.
Tour Highlights:
- A morning lecture from historian Duane Vandenbusche on the history of Gunnison
- A walking exploration of downtown Gunnison’s historic buildings and stories
- Visits to notable sites, including architectural features like courthouse marble and granite
- A guided tour of the historic Hartman Castle, hosted by Hartman Castle Preservation
