In our third installment in the series, we learn about preservation projects in Gunnison County and nearby, including the Fairview Peak Fire Lookout, Alpine Ranger Station, Wisconsin Street Garage, Pieplant Townsite, Trout Lake Trestle, and Raber Cow camp. Justin Lawrence, Archaeologist of the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forest, and David Primus, historian and member of the Gunnison County Historic Preservation Commission, will present on these projects and how Secretary of the Interior Standards influenced the work.
Duane Vandenbushe will open the presentation with a short history of the County.
